Salt Creek Ballet “The Nutcracker”

Salt Creek Ballet’s critically-acclaimed production of The Nutcracker with its magnificent sets, costumes and talented cast of more than 75 dancers from a full range of Chicago suburbs, returns this holiday season to The Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University.

The production will feature distinguished soloists from the acclaimed Boston Ballet, including principal dancers Larissa Ponomarenko and Roman Rykine, plus live music from the 50-piece Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. 

The young and young-at-heart can enjoy a Sugar Plum Party at 3 p.m., complete with Santa photo opportunities, costumed characters and festive holiday refreshments. Tickets for the Sugar Plum Party are $10.

Buy one get one free tickets are available at the box office two hours prior to each curtain for one hour only, based upon availability.
