The Winter’s Tale is a story of a husband’s perceived betrayal by his wife and is one that will pull at your heartstrings while keeping you entertained by clowns and thieves. This five-person version includes comedy, tragedy, humor, drama, slapstick, and violence – all presented in a fast-paced, 90-minute, family-friendly version. The show take its roots from Shakespeare’s day and the ensemble will direct the production under the leadership of Artistic Director Britain Willcock. The play will feature company members Kelly Helgeson (Hermione/Emilia/Perdita), Kelly Levander (Mamillius/Paulina/Autolycus), Britain Willcock (Leontes/Old Shepherd) and includes the talent of two local actors Martin Diaz-Valdez (Polixenes/Lady-in-Waiting/Dion/a mariner/Florizel) and Tami Torok (Camillo/Antigonus/Cleomenes/Clown).
