The Glass Menagerie

The Glass Menagerie is a poetic drama about a depression era family living in St. Louis. The daughter Laura has a slight physical disability that has left her socially paralyzed. Her mother Amanda escapes her current situation by remembering her days as a Southern belle, and Laura’s brother Tom lives out the adventure and excitement missing from his real life by constant trips to the movies. The family struggles on without a father, clinging to hope that comes in the form of a gentleman caller. Alison Henderson directs.
