The Giver

Jonas, an 11-year old, lives in a futuristic, utopian society deviod of crime, war, death, decisions, and memories. Upon being appointed his life’s work Jonas is astonished at being assigned “The Receiver of Memories”, the most revered position in his society. But what he choses to do with this knowledge is not what his community had intended. Presented by Apple Tree Theatre as part of Metropolis’s Literature to Life series.
