Andrew Gall directs a new translation of Moliere’s Tartuffe, a comedy about a devilishy pious imposter. When con-man-cum-religious zealot Tartuffe bullies his way into Orgon’s household, tries to seduce his wife, and tricks the gullible master of the house out of his
fortune, the family must rally to give the lecherous
hypocrite the boot.
