Subiendo Muertos/Raising the Dead: a Día De Muertos experience combines the rituals of Day of the Dead with the unbridled joy of improv in a show that celebrates dearly departed community members through comedy and cultura. Surrounded by vibrant altars and the intoxicating scent of cempasuchil (marigolds) this interactive theatrical evening invites our ancestors–ancient and recent, regal and ratchet to cross the veil and party with us one more time! Located in the heart of Humboldt Park, Subiendo Muertos is a noche de puro pari that creates art as offering. Join us as we revel in the memories of our loved ones and honor them through laughter, tears, dancing, and cheers! 

La Muerte’s favorite time of year is finally here! Take a journey with La Muerte on a night that combines the rituals of Día De Los Muertos with the wonder of improv in A Night with Iconos: A Día de Los Muertos Experience. Follow La Muerte for an evening of travesuras with his favorite icons on the other side of the veil- Jenni Rivera, Cantinflas, Maria Felix, and Walter Mercado. Then tag along with your favorite neighborhood Ratas to honor the memory of the dearly departed through interactive community art as offering.
