Showtime 2002!

Hundreds from Chicago’s theater community gather to honor recently retired Chicago Tribune chief critic Richard Christiansen for his prolific coverage of Chicago’s theater scene spanning 40 years. Showtime 2002! also boasts the presentation of the League’s second-annual Artistic Leadership Award to actor and Tony Award-winning director Frank Galati.

Brian Dennehy, currently starring in the Goodman Theatre’s Long Day’s Journey into Night, and Criss Henderson, Executive Director of Chicago Shakespeare Theater, are the Gala Benefit Co-Chairs.
