About This Show

A new play written by ensemble member Austin Pendleton, ORSON’S SHADOW brings legendary theatrical luminaries to life. The play is set in 1960 as theater critic, Kenneth Tynan, tracks down the reclusive Orson Wells to direct a revival of Ionesco’s play, “Rhinoceros”. He wants Laurence Olivier to star with his new love, Joan Plowright. Come and watch Orson as he wrestles with Larry, Joan, Ken, and Vivien Leigh’s dramatic egos and personalities.
