Written by and co-starring Christine Houston, creator of the hit NBC sitcom 227, I Love You Nana is a humorous play with a serious tone which shows how events in childhood can affect adult relationships with elderly family members. A 72-year old grandmother comes to visit her young grandson, Melvin, and his problem-laden wife Doris who has a strong dislike for the elderly, stemming from various incidents with her aunt who raised her after her unmarried mother died during childbirth.
