About This Show

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago launches its 35th Anniversary Season with One Thousand Pieces–a full-evening work created by Hubbard Street Resident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo set on both the full main Company and Hubbard Street 2. The work is inspired by Marc Chagall’s famed America Windows, permanently on view at the Art Institute of Chicago, and features the music of Philip Glass. This world premiere, given in honor of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, debuts at the Harris Theater in Millennium Park.
