Happy End

Brown Couch Theatre Company presents Happy End. Brecht and Weil’s melodrama with songs is set in a mythical gangland Chicago. It follows the struggles of a passionate Salvation Army lieutenant, determined to save the soul of a ruthless mobster, whose gang is led by the mysterious Fly. Soon the gangster and “Hallelujah Lil” fall in love as chaos erupts in both their groups and builds to a dramatic showdown on Christmas Eve.
