After her hailed performances as Mrs. Lovett in Porchlight’s Sweeney Todd, actress Rebecca Finnegan returns as Mama Rose in Gypsy. Finnegan portrays the ultimate stage-mother, as she takes her daughters, June and Louise, on tour across the United States during the 1920s, when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was born. This Broadway classic about the life of famous burlesque stripper Gypsy Rose Lee, boasts some of the most memorable songs in musical theater, including “Let Me Entertain You,” “You Gotta Get a Gimmick,” “If Momma Was Married,” and the show-stopping “Everything’s Coming Up Roses.”
