A dying son, a mother unable to let go of the past, a daughter with wanderlust and a young lover forced to commit the ultimate sacrifice all confront life-altering decisions in this poetic exploration of a family facing cataclysmic change. Theatre School alumnus Alex Perry’s world premiere play blends Greek mythology with a modern story of struggle, love and hope. Eikon is the inaugural production of The Theatre School’s New Playwrights Series, which is intended to be an annual presentation of a new play by a current Theatre School student or recent graduate. Alex Perry’s play is directed by Theatre School faculty member Carlos Murillo.
