Dave Foley was born and raised in Toronto where he attended alternative high schools. At a young age, he began writing stand-up comedy for creative writing projects. His interest in improv led him to comedy workshops, where he met and teamed with Kevin McDonald. They became “The Kids in the Hall” one year later and the rest is history!

Best known as a cast member on the classic sketch comedy show The Kids in the Hall and the star of NBC’s NewsRadio, Foley has recently turned his comic talents to stand-up, headlining clubs across America. In recent years, Foley has hosted Bravo’s Celebrity Poker Showdown, reunited with the Kids in the Hall for the miniseries Death Comes to Town, and appeared on the short-lived CBS series How to Be a Gentleman.
