And You Sang to Me is a romantic comedy about six people falling in, out, and around love. It follows a group of men who gather on the occasion of a mutual friend’s wedding. In three bright scenes, we see the six in their various hotel rooms, and we watch the dance that strangers, friends, and couples do. A lost set of trousers and a found yellow thong, a tumble into a fountain videotaped for prosperity, a relationship between an actor and a critic, and an unlikely link between experts on antiques and automobiles are all part of theatrical journey that evokes laughter, reaffirms the importance of friendship, and sends a subtle message about who and what is normal in our society.
