About the Show

Shakespeare’s first romantic comedy, Two Gentlemen Of Verona, follows Proteus and Valentine, who have been best friends since boyhood. Now, as adults, Valentine chooses to leave Verona in search of wealth in Milan. Proteus chooses to stay behind because he has fallen in love with Julia. However, soon after exchanging rings with Julia, Proteus is also called away to Milan, where he meets, and subesquently falls in love, with Valentine’s new love, Silvia.
