Shrew: The Holiday Musical

Presented by the Georgia Shakespeare Festival, this tap-dancing adaptation of THE TAMING OF THE SHREW is set in Palm Beach, Florida, in the 1930s. Petruchio and Kate are patterned after Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers and the show features Gershwin-style songs. Conceived and directed by John R. Briggs with music and lyrics by Mr. Briggs and the late Dennis West.
