About the Show
Kia Corthron?s Breath, Boom is a street-smart and poignant look at what it means to choose a life of violence on the streets. Synchronicity Performance Group’s Co-Producing Artistic Director Rachel May directs a cast of seven women (and one man) in this Southeastern premiere. With language both poetic and streetwise, brash and ballsy, Corthron follows the story of Prix, the head of a girl gang, from age 16 to 30.
