Mad Cow Theatre presents a new signature event for Downtown Orlando – The first annual Orlando Cabaret Festival. The Festival will feature cabaret artists and acts from Central Florida and beyond in a series of 29 evening and lunchtime performances May 2nd – 18th, 2003.
Mad Cow Theatre turns its intimate theatre space into a lively nightspot, with table seating at ringside surrounding an elegant art deco stage. One of the features of the Festival will be a series of weekday lunchtime performances designed especially for downtown workers. The performances will last 40 minutes, allowing workers to bring their lunch (box lunches will also be available at the theatre), see the show, and make it back to their offices within an hour. Those looking for an evening on the town can also select a dinner show package, with a gourmet dinner at Johnny River’s Concha Me Crazy and a ringside table seat at the cabaret show of your choice.
Performances at the Orlando Cabaret Festival range from pop and jazz to contemporary and classical, providing something for everyone’s tastes.
