“The Pleasure is… all Mime” is a two-act pantomime show performed by Nina Hlava. The production’s main theme is a takeoff on pop culture which is expressed in a series of miniature plays and sketches, each reflecting a specific subject, such as Pop Stardom, Public Education, Reality TV Showmanship, Loneliness of an Individual, Drug use, Corruption, etc. All pieces, though dissimilar in their duration, message, mood, and story, are united by the specific style of silent action. Another source of harmony is the use of vignettes – graphic animations, projected on the backdrop and accompanied by music, as introduction of the next piece. To vary the performance and to demonstrate other abilities of Nina Hlava, some scenes include Top Dancing, Acrobatics, Puppetry, and Juggling. In addition, several scenes imply audience participation
