The Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats have been called “incredible,” “breathtaking” and even “quite unbelievable.” Consisting of sensational Chinese acrobatics, balancing feats, martial arts display and even a bit of humor, they provide entertainment for all–there is no language barrier, and each performance is absolutely thrilling and filled with brilliant costumes. The group has been performing before international audiences for over 25 years to wide acclaim.
Training to become a member of the Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats begins at an early age. It is, in fact, a family affair–children who watch their parents contort, leap and sail through the air from the time they are able to see, obviously take it for granted that they will, in time, do the same. It certainly is second nature to the Hai Family, as they have led the Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats for over 20 years, meeting with great success throughout the world.
