The Marriage of Figaro

This delightful opera follows on the heels of 2007’s The Barber of Seville; the opera opens on the morning of Figaro’s wedding day. Several years have gone by since the action in Barber, and Count Almaviva has grown bored in his marriage to Rosina. Meanwhile, Figaro is to wed Susanna, for whom the Count has wandering eyes, while Dr. Bartolo would like nothing more than to exact some revenge of his own. This fully orchestrated production from the Mozart Festival Opera is presented in Italian with English supertitles.
