About This Show

During his years on Saturday Night Live, comedian Norm MacDonald was known for his biting sarcasm, distinct muttering and slurred delivery. He lives up to this reputation during his ever-popular stand-up routines. His appearance at The Ridgefield Playhouse is part of the Bruce Bennett Nissan Comedy Series.

Norm MacDonald joined SNL in the early ’90s and became famous for his deadpan delivery of controversial, yet hilarious, running gags about people-in-the-news. After SNL, he starred in his first movie, Dirty Work, which featured performances by such comedic greats as Don Rickles, Chevy Chase and Adam Sandler. He was also the voice of an animal in Doctor Doolittle.
