The Last Five Years, by Jason Robert Brown, tells the story of a couple’s relationship, Jamie and Kathy, his perspective from the beginning of their courtship to the end, and her perspective from the day he moves out moving backwards in time to their first kiss. They meet in the middle of the piece, their lives in synch for a moment, with a beautiful and touching duet. Michael Perlman directs.
