About This Show

Stephen Temperley’s Souvenir is a funny and poignant story about the musical career of Florence Foster Jenkins, a wealthy Manhattan society eccentric of the 1930s and ’40s. Ms. Jenkins believed herself an Opera Diva of the highest caliber, but she couldn’t hit a single note on key. This true story reveals the remarkable woman whose love and passion for music – when paired with her conviction and drive – catapult her to fame and the realization of her dreams.

The lead role of Florence Foster Jenkins is played by Judy Kaye and the role of her accompanist Cosme McMoon is played by Donald Corren, both from the original Broadway cast.
