Rita Wilson

Although Rita Wilson is best known as the wife of Academy award winning actor Tom Hanks as well as for her film and TV roles such as It’s Complicated and Sleepless in Seattle (among others), or on CBS’ The Good Wife, and, most recently, her role in Larry David’s sold out Broadway hit: Fish In The Dark; she is now going back to her early show biz ambitions, which were actually based in music. During the past two years Wilson has collaborated with a number of extremely talented and successful songwriters composing original material to be featured on her second album, self-titled Rita Wilson, scheduled for an early 2016 release. Some of this material was featured in Wilson’s sold-out two-week residency at the famed Carlyle Café in New York City in late 2014. Her show will feature numbers from her 2012 album “AM/FM,” a collection of classic pop from the 1960s and ’70s, and songs from her new album.
