The finale dramatically re-enacts Holly’s final concert in Clear Lake, Iowa, hours before he died. Backed by the 12-piece Clearwater Orchestra and other rock greats – Richie Valens and “La Bamba,” the Big Bopper and “Chantilly Lace” – Buddy brings down the house with his string of hits, “That’ll Be the Day,” “Oh Boy!,” “Maybe Baby,” and “Peggy Sue,” and the party raves on.
