Jorgensen’s 50th Anniversary Gala

The Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts celebrates its 50th anniversary season with “America’s Orchestra” — the world-famous Boston Pops, conducted with panache by the exuberant Keith Lockhart. This special evening marks the culmination of Jorgensen’s yearlong celebration with a magical selection of the nation’s best-known and most beloved music. Fifty years ago, the Boston Symphony Orchestra performed on Jorgensen’s gala opening night. Now, the Boston Pops helps bring Jorgensen’s 50 years of magnificent performances full circle with yet another splendid performance.
