Intended for families and children ages 5 and up, the fast-paced and funny Fred Garbo Inflatable Theatre Company returns to the Jorgensen by popular demand. The buoyant Garbo, who is a juggler, acrobat, and mime, and Brazillian ballerina Daielma Santos, star in a childrens program that includes physical comedy, dance, juggling and one-of-a-kind inflatable creatures.The performance begins with a 10-foot cylinder that slithers onto the stage and implodes. The audience gets involved when it must play catch with gigantic, airy, inflatable props that bounce from person to person. Giant, blow-up shapes dance, shimmer, deflate, inflate and bounce across the stage in a kaleidoscope of color.
