Fiddler on the Roof

About the Show

Fiddler on the Roof played on Broadway to rave reviews and is one of the longest-running musicals of all time. The story comes to life through the engaging book by Joseph Stein, soulful lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and memorable music by Jerry Brock. For Tevye, a dairyman in Tsarist Russia, the old world collides with the new as he maintains that the old ways are best but revolution is in the air and the young start to make decisions on their own, sometimes even without advice from their parents.

"Fiddler On The Roof has been my favorite musical for as long as I can remember. If you have never seen Fiddler before, you are in for a special treat," says director Gary Lewis. This is the story of love between men and women, a man and his past and the will of a family facing upheaval in their lives. It is a charming and touching story about finding the courage to embrace change during uncertain times. The heart-warming musical production features memorable numbers like "Tradition", "If I Were a Rich Man" and "Matchmaker" among others. The Tony Award-Winning production garnered honors for being the longest running musical in Broadway history (1972), Best Musical (1965), Best Composer and Lyricist among many others.
