Alchemy of Desire/Dead-Man’s Blues

The Bug Theatre Company presents Alchemy of Desire/Dead-Man’s Blues, a play with songs by Caridad Svich directed by Donna Morrison, Artistic Director of The Bug Theatre.

Set in a burnt-out bayou, Svich’s vivid playscape of moist earth, dark water, fireflies, fishing, and the wafting cigar smoke of voodoo songstresses sets the scene for this story of desire that crosses the boundary between the living and the dead.
