About This Show

Kidworks Touring Theatre Company presents its 6th Annual Summer Reading Program, a hands-on exploration of ancient Egypt at Chicago Public Libraries with The Pharaoh, The Sphinx and the Curse of the Mummy. Kids aged 4-12 can learn traditional belly dancing, doumbek drumming, pyramid building, and how to bow to King Tut or dress like Cleopatra, via a series of drama activities and dances. This outreach program was written and directed by Andrea Salloum, and features Salloum and Tusiime Jackson. Costumes are by Judy Thomson.
