About This Show

Through the masterful dialogue of one of Canada’s premiere east coast playwrights comes Hockey Mom, Hockey Dad, an unconventional love story with a slapshot of Cape Breton humour. A slashing two-hander, starring Irene Poole and David Ferry as Donna and Teddy, two young, single parents who watch their kids play a season of minor league hockey. They reveal their dreams and fears, wins and losses, as they fall in love to the tune of referee whistles and a chugging zamboni.
