The Comedy of Errors

Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors is about two sets of twins that are separated by a shipwreck in their infancy. Years later, Antipholus and his servant Dromio land in a seaport town. Unbeknownst to them, their long-lost twin brothers reside in this same very town. Confusion, chaos and comedy multiply as spouses, creditors friends and foes alike instantly mistake the brothers’ identities. Director William Partian sets this production in Santa Cruz and brings in the out-of-towners from New York City.
