In their new duet, Babatunji and Hadassah Perry work together to create F (Work In Progress), a query of what can come from the quest for freedom. The subjectivity of freedom in America is inescapable. “Freedom” is now synonymous with homogeneity and bigotry, a freedom to hate. F reimagines freedom through experiences of love, frivolity, imagination, and tenderness. What happens when we give ourselves the freedom to be ourselves?
