Shakespeare’s R & J
$18.00 - $35.00
Joe Calarco’s Shakespeare’s R & J is set in a repressive Catholic boys school with an all-male cast. Four students, tired of going through the usual drill of conjugating Latin and other tedious routines, decide to vary their very governed lives by taking turns reading Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet after school. The rigidity of their lives begins to parallel the lives of the play’s characters. George Maguire directs.
There are no Sunday performances on May 19 or June 2.
