Same River Twice

This summer Artship Dance/Theater premieres a new work entitled Same River Twice, an exploration and commentary on the themes of uprooting, cultural displacement, and the search for home, against a background of constant change and as seen through the eyes of emigrants/immigrants.

Artship Dance/Theater’s unique theatrical language is sourced in their signature Open Rehearsal process, during which professional performers work in collaboration with emerging artists to explore themes and to generate seeds of movement sequences. Same River Twice is directed and choreographed by Artship Artistic Director Slobodan Dan Paich in collaboration with Marija Krtolica, choreographer in-residence, and the cast.
