Driect from a smash engagement in LA, ManLady is an honest investigation of gender and identity. Drawing from Weiss Vando’s life and observations, the show breaks down queer misogyny from the inside out and offers a new image of masculinity. It layers movement, poetry, and narrative story-telling in order to confess a deeply personal journey. Our young boy grows up, puts on heels, falls in love and is rejected. Yet, in the end he accepts himself and redefines what it is to be a ManLady.
