Killing My Lobster Faces the Music
$20.00 General Admission; $15.00 Students (with valid ID)
A celebration of San Francisco and all that is silly and show-tuney about it, Killing My Lobster Faces the Music addresses conflicts between different Bay Area cliques as well as the art world’s sometimes absurd struggle to survive in a materialistic world. Sketches and scenarios feature the ultimate musical tribute to the burrito, a parade for parades, and two rival factions who try to settle the age-old battle between the Mission and the Marina — a la West Side Story set to a hip-hop beat. The show is directed by Andrew Bancroft, and features live orchestrated music by Bancroft and Olive Mitra. The cast includes KML veterans Andy Alabran, Todd Brotze, Sarah Mitchell, Emily Morrison, and Shaye Troha and newcomer Danny Kreuger.
In addition to the regular schedule, performances are arranged for:
Thursday, January 11 at 8:00pm
Wednesday, January 17 at 8:00pm
Thursday, January 18 at 8:00pm
