Tennessee Williams’ Camino Real (Kam-uh-no Reel) was described by the playwright himself as “the continually dissolving and transforming images of a dream.” A well known group of fictional and non-fictional historic characters, including Don Quixote, Casanova, Camille, Lord Byron and even the GI “everyman” of World War II fame, Kilroy, are trapped in a mysterious, dead-end town surrounded by desert.
