Annie Get Your Gun

Based on the life of legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley, Annie Get Your Gun is the story of a tomboy from the hills with a knack for shooting guns. Persuaded to join Buffalo Bill’s taveling Wild West Show, Annie meets her match in love, and gunfire, with the show’s featured shooting ace Frank Butler, who unfortunateely wants a “feminine” woman, not a gun-toting dame who is a better shot than he. His male ego bruised, Frank joins a rival wild west show, and he and Annie are ultimately reunited and pitted against each other in a final, musical shoot-out. Eventually, love triumphs in this action-packed take on Peter Stone’s 1999 acclaimed Broadway revival.
