The Old Globe presents Vincent in Brixton, by Nicholas Wright, directed by Richard Seer, Director of the Globe/University of San Diego Master of Fine Arts Program.
Winner of London’s prestigious Olivier Award in 2003, Vincent in Brixton is loosely based on Vincent van Gogh’s early life in London. It paints the artist as a brash young Dutchman unsure of what he wants to do in life – until he rents a room from an English widow, with whom he shares a passionate relationship, and his destiny is changed forever.
