Spotlight On Adult Classes

In the SPOTLIGHT ON Learning Series for Adults, students can (re)ignite their creative spark with theatre-based classes on topics ranging from playwrighting, to improv, to musical theatre – and more! If you have always been curious about what goes in to creating a play or musical, these courses are the perfect introduction to the magic behind the stage. Courses are led by La Jolla Playhouse teaching artists and are intended for all people 18 years and over, whether you are a complete novice or have some knowledge and want to deepen your practice. Spotlight On is a casual, supportive environment that inspires life-long learning and community.

Spotlight On courses are offered as a Summer series and a Fall/ Winter series, sessions range from 6-7 weeks with weekly 2-hour classes. Classes for October – November 2022 will take place in person on the La Jolla Playhouse campus.
