About This Show

Based on Andrew Carroll’s critically acclaimed and best-selling book of the same title, War Letters is a dramatization of wartime correspondence from the American Civil War through the present conflict in Afghanistan. Adapted for the stage by playwright and Sundance alum Paul Selig, ‘War Letters’ will be read by an ensemble of actors, featuring two celebrities who will rotate into the cast every two or three weeks. The readers reflect the remarkable voices of ordinary American men and women facing extraordinary circumstances. Directed by Philip Himberg.
