The Salzburg Marionette Theater

For more than 90 years, The Salzburg Marionette Theater has been bringing famous works of opera, ballet, and drama to life through the astonishing art of marionette puppetry. With opulent, baroque sets and exquisite costumes, the Salzburg Marionettes are a wonderful way to introduce young audiences to great opera, while opera lovers will be newly-enchanted by their favorite music and characters when brought to life by the expressive two-foot tall, carved wooden puppets. Their performances feature The Magic Flute (Oct. 26 & 27) and Hansel and Gretel (Oct. 28 & 29).
