About This Show

The original cast and director from Broadway’s acclaimed Roundabout Theatre production star in The Rainmaker by N. Richard Nash. In this touching American fairy tale, H.C. Curry’s farm is starved for water and his spinster daughter, Lizzie, is starved for love. All that changes when Bill Starbuck, a con man in love with his own con, blows into town. Scott Ellis directs Jayne Atkinson, David Aaron Baker, Jerry Hardin, John Bedford Lloyd, Bernie McInerney, and Randle Mell in this production.
Part of L.A. Theatre Works The Play’s The Thing live radio theater series, this production is recorded live for future broadcast on KCRW 89.9 FM.
