Told through the eyes, art, and light of an ancient painter, Richard Martin Hirsch’s The Quality of Light is the story of a middle-aged, divorced American woman, Claire, who has come to Saint Paul de Vence, above Cote d’ Azure, in the South of France, to try to reclaim her life several months after the suicide of her teenaged son. There, she happens to meet Jack, a man ten years her junior who is AWOL from his marriage, and they share a passionate, deeply emotional 48 hours together.
There will be Sunday matinees on April 2, 9, and 16 at 2pm.
