About This Show

The Chance Theater Repertory Company presents The Diary of Anne Frank, in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of Anne Frank’s birth and in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Broadway debut of her compelling story!

Working from Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett’s Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play, and the unexpurgated “definitive edition” of The Diary of a Young Girl, Wendy Kesselman’s new adaptation captures the joy, the horror, the poignancy of a time we still struggle to understand, chronicling the harrowing plight of the young Jewish girl and her family with realism and historical accuracy.
