Recent Tragic Events

The second production is Recent Tragic Events, written by Craig Wright, who is also known for his work on the popular shows, Six Feet Under and Lost. The play is set on September 12, 2001 in the Minneapolis apartment of Waverly, a young advertising executive. Amidst the television coverage of the 9/11 attacks, her blind date is complicated by a missing twin in New York, intruding neighbors and a startling visit from Joyce Carol Oates.
