PlayGround prePlay – Cry Now, Laugh Later

PlayGround’s first prePlay Table Reading Series! Four PlayGround alumni will receive a public table read of an evening-length play performed at The Broadwater Black Box (6320 Santa Monica Blvd) with a paid cast and live broadcast. To ensure radical accessibility, all performances are admission-free, with a suggested donation of $10-$30. Our first play reading, Cry Now, Laugh Later by Aaron Higareda, will be held on October 11, 2026 at 4pm. Check out https://playground-la.org/preplay/ for more info.
